The East Lansing soccer team advanced to the district semi-finals with a thrilling 2-1 overtime victory over Dewitt on Monday night. The Trojans will play district host, St. Johns on Wednesday at 4:00 PM in St. Johns. Petrus Martens scored the game winning goal as time expired in the first of two, ten minute overtime sessions. The East Lansing defense held off the Panthers in the second overtime to secure the win. The Trojans erased and Panther lead before the end of the first half with a goal from Mohamed Babale.
