Trojans News · Boys JV Basketball Holds on for Williamston win 74-68

The Boys JV team traveled to Williamston for their second game of the season. They dug out of a early hole just before halftime and took the lead. they continued to build on the lead in the third quarter. A very balanced attack led by Tyler Washington created a 12 point lead. There was no shortage of whistles Monday night and foul trouble played a part for both teams. The Hornets fought back in the 4th to make it a very good game. The Trojans squeaked out a win in game two 74-68 by hitting 7/8 free throws down the stretch. The Trojans brought a tremendous amount of effort to their defensive game and caused over 20 turnovers. Great job fellas!
