East Lansing Trojans Varsity easily dispatched Lansing Everett 12-2 on Wednesday
In the first inning, Lansing Everett got their offense started when D. Hernandez doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
East Lansing Trojans Varsity notched five runs in the fourth inning. Ellie Myron and Megan Nichols all drove in runs in the frame.
Gracie Danziger led things off in the pitcher’s circle for East Lansing Trojans Varsity. She lasted five innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out seven and walking one.
East Lansing Trojans Varsity racked up 12 hits in the game. Alexis Johnson, Corinne Nichols, Courtney Bertsch, and Nichols all managed multiple hits for East Lansing Trojans Varsity. Johnson went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead East Lansing Trojans Varsity in hits. East Lansing Trojans Varsity stole 15 bases during the game as five players stole more than one.
